The minimum entry requirement is 5 GCSE passes at grade A* - C (including at least one of mathematics or English) or a Merit in BTEC Level 2 qualification in a computing or IT related field.
If you do not have these qualifications, but do have considerable work related experience in the area you may still be eligible.
The normal progression route for this course is onto a higher education programme such as our HND in Computing or a first degree at he. Our tutors will be working with you to support and advise on the best pathways to follow based on your personal goals.
On successful completion of the course you will have various opportunities in the area of computing including Computer Programming, Systems Analysis, and Design and Management. In addition to specialist careers, there is a wide range of opportunities in business where in-depth knowledge of computer systems is a valuable asset.
