This is a part time study programme delivered 27/01/25 – 26/5/26 on a Tuesday Evening from 17:00 – 21:00 hours.

By the end of this course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of cybercrime and cyber threat actors. They will be able to identify various types of cyber threat actors, such as cybercriminals, cyberterrorists, and insider threats, and understand their motivations, methods, and impacts. This knowledge will enable students to recognize common attack vectors and targets, providing a solid foundation for further exploration of cyber security.

Students will also investigate a wide range of cyber security threats and hazards, gaining insights into their behaviors and potential impacts on individuals, businesses, and governments. Through detailed analysis and categorization, students will develop the ability to assess the global threat landscape and emerging threats, equipping them with the skills to anticipate and mitigate cyber security risks effectively.

The course will delve into the principles of information assurance and governance, focusing on their application to ICT infrastructure.
